JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- Cory Allen Keith’s guilty plea has resulted in a 20 year prison sentence for him.

On Monday in criminal court, Keith agreed he was guilty of rape of a child, attempted continuous sexual abuse of a child, aggravated sexual battery and two counts of unlawful photographing of a child under 13 years old.

Keith was sentenced to 20 years in prison, according to the plea. The rape of a child charge is a class A felony meaning he will serve 100 percent of the 20 year sentence. His other sentences for the additional felony charges will run concurrent with that prison term.

He was given credit for the last year he spent in jail, court records indicated.

Other terms of the plea include remaining on community supervision for life and registering as a sex offender.

Keith will appear in court again on Sept. 21 so the victim can address him directly.

Last year, a sealed indictment was handed down revealing Keith’s crimes.

The indictment said that between June 2021 and Aug. 2025, Keith sexually abused a child on multiple occasions. He also took photos of the child that were exploitative, according to court records.

In August 2025, he was originally arrested on one count of unlawful photographing a child under 13. In September 2025, when he appeared in general sessions court, that charge was bound over to the grand jury.

The grand jury later returned the five count indictment.
