11th Annual Dixie Roofing Clays for Children Fundraiser

CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- It’s time to register for the 11th Annual Dixie Roofing Clays for Children Sporting Clays Tournament. The event is scheduled for Thursday, October 1,  and Friday, October 2. The venue is Iron Mountain Sporting Clays located at 410 Hardin Road at Kodak.

According to Campbell County Children’s Center CEO Tracie Davis, this is a major fundraising event benefiting the Children’s Centers of Campbell, Claiborne, Fentress, Scott, and Union Counties in Tennessee.

The event is a 100-shot sporting clays competition for teams. Shooters compete in teams of four with an entry fee of $150 per shooter. Golf carts are provided with one per team of four.

The fundraising event will have tons of prizes with both individual and team awards given out. There will also be a silent auction held both days of the event, and a live auction held during lunch on Friday.

The Children’s Centers of the Eighth Judicial District will benefit from funds raised during this annual event. Children’s centers provide medical exams, forensic interviews, counseling, and court support for abused and neglected children in a five-county region.
