Temperatures remain above average through much of the weekend. Scattered showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast for Thursday night and into the weekend.
While not as extreme as it was last week, Thursday will be quite hot especially across the southern and central valley areas. Take hot temperatures seriously, drink plenty of water, find A/C, and remember to look before you lock when exiting vehicles.
