Ownbey and the Cougars have battled the extreme heat all week and look to battle the Beavers from Karns tonight in the eight o’clock game. Kick off was pushed back an hour because of the heat advisory.
Both teams come in 0 & 2. Campbell has had trouble slowing teams down while Karns is yet to score entering this Region 3-5A meeting.
Friday’s match-up marks the 48th meeting dating back to 1977, a 7-0 Karns win. Campbell last won 49-14 in 2023 on Reynolds Field. The Beavers hold a 28-19 edge in the series.
Campbell hosts it third game of the 2026 season at home in an 8:00 pm kick-off, 7:30pm air time on WLAF) with Karns.
