WELL SPRINGS, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- Volunteers are needed.
On Saturday, September 19, the Norris Lake Project Team and TVA will be putting on a clean-up of litter and material from the island and lake off the boat ramp on Well Road.

Sometimes called Graveyard Point, turn right off Old Middlesboro Highway at the Powell Valley Gun Club.
Pick-up tools, gloves, litter bags, boats to haul volunteers and lunch will be provided.

Volunteers will meet at the boat ramp parking lot (in photo above) at 9am and work until 1pm.
“Come out and help clean-up a beautiful part of Norris Lake and an island that has a lot of Norris Lake history with it,” said Glennis Monday, retired long time Litter Control Officer.
