JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- The halls were abuzz, more than usual, on Tuesday morning at the annual Healthcare Job Fair hosted by TCAT. Employers visited with prospective TCAT employees (students) from 9am until noon.

“We were excited to see the turnout today of employers. We thank each of them for taking time to connect with job seekers. We hope to double our employer numbers next year as we will be in a much larger state of the art building,” said Dr. Debbie Petree, President of TCAT.

Ali Carlan is with Bess Stout with Tennova La Follette Medical Center.

“We are so happy today to see the graduates here from TCAT that are graduating tonight (and Friday) from nursing school, and we’ve talked them a lot about jobs. They are interested in the hospital (Tennova-La Follette Medical Center), and many of them have done their clinicals at our hospital. We have also talked to CNAs who are interested in medical assistance and office assistance. It’s been a good meeting with the graduates this morning. It’s so good that TCAT is here to train everyone,” said Bess Stout, Human Resources Director for the La Follette Medical Center.
