Chrystal Hamblin Aslinger, age 74, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026. She was a member of Grace Empowerment Ministries. Chrystal had a heart for Jesus and loved being with other believers and loved her family so much. She was preceded in death by parents: Jake and Mabel Spurlock Hamblin, sister: Judy Bray, Beulah Wilson, brothers: Henry and Edward Hamblin and Donnie Bray

Daughters: Theresa Dossett, LeeAnne Reese, Hannah Reese, Melanie Reese

Sons: Jeremiah Dossett, Michael Dossett

Special Grandchildren: Troy, Renlie, Taisleigh

Grandchildren: Jeremy, William, Michaela

Great Grandchildren: Kiley, Gabriel, Adalynn. Abel, Wilder, Laynie, Romeo, Lilith, Violet, Daisy, Atlantis

Brother: Terry Bray and wife Sue

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 17, 12-1 PM, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with the service to follow in Cross-Smith Chapel at 1 PM, Rev. Jonathan Gibson, Rev. Tim Siler officiating. Family and friends will proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery following services for interment.
