CAMPBELL COUNTY. TN. (WLAF) – The Caryville-Jacksboro Utilities Commission has continued to take water samples following yesterday’s shut down of facilities. They are awaiting test results. CJUC is continuing to flush hydrants and monitor the system. Once they have more information, customers will be notified. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 8/14/2026-10AM)
Are all areas of CJUC’s service area affected by this contamination, and if not please provide information.
All customers of CJUC are advised to not use the water until told otherwise.
