JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- At Wednesday’s County planning commission, the election of officers was approved, as were multiple minor lot subdivisions.

Rusty Orick was once again elected as chairman.

J.C. Miller was nominated for vice chairman but withdrew his name from the nomination. Mike Caudill was nominated and approved as vice chairman. Gary Byrd was elected as secretary once again.

The planning commission also approved nine minor lot subdivisions, with all approvals recommended by the regional county planner Jordan Rockwell.

The first Minor Lot Subdivision approved was for Prime Capital Investments, LLC, on McDeerman Rd. Next approved was a Minor Lot Subdivision for Jacksboro Metals, LLC, on Towe String Road. Also approved was Minor Lot Subdivision for Ronald and Wendy Huckaby, on Knoxville Hollow Road.

The fourth Minor Lot Subdivision approved was for Matt Marion Property, on Highway 116.

Next approved was a Minor Lot Subdivision for Thomas Eichhorn on Highland Trace.

Also approved was a Minor Lot Subdivision for Alvin and Katherine Carmany, on John McGhee Blvd.

Next approved was a Minor Lot Subdivision for Carol Tidwell, on East Dog Wood Trail.

Final approvals were for a Minor Lot Subdivision for WX3, LLC on Hwy 25W, as well as a Minor Lot Subdivision for Jason Rutherford on Brantley Lane.

According to Rockwell, there were no issues with any of the minor lot subdivisions, and he recommended approval for all. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-09/14/206-6AM)
